What exactly are you passionate about? The music?

Oh yeah. College graduates make way more money. Ask any libertarian on these boards that. smile

Don't let ebay get you down. Are you a member of the NPGMC? See? It's that easy! biggrin

Well at least you're turning somewhere. And college is a good bet. Though if you're in a small towm the person up there who mentioned something about your local chamber of commerce was on the right track too.

Plus, you're gonna have to suck it up and probably have to work with a partner at some point!

I'm passionate about, music, record collecting, the whole bit. Ther's other things I like but I'm not as good at them sometimes I downright suck at some of the other things
I'm not a member of the NPGMC

You should at least have some other things in mind. (Not trying to discourage you from the record thing...)

But you need to focus on skills in math and business! It's great that you have a passion already. But you have to be realistic!

I have no math skills (my math is at 6th grade level) My other passions aren't anything that are going to get me a big paycheck (I do like office work though) Other passions are erotic writing, fashion/lingeire, & organizing stuff.

How do u make a business plan?

your local chamber of commerce should have a group of retired business people who can help you start your own business.

i agree with this one

LaCoyta! no no no!

Let me quote to you from that famous Prince B-side "Love or Money."

He was bad, he was fresh
All the women say he was the best
He had money up 2 his neck
But it didn't mean a heck

Makes you think, doesn't it? nod

Now get out there and sell some used records!

Forget a real store. Too many overheads. U're better off going for something on the net, like on ebay. Don't need any business plan as such, just somewhere to get your probably not exactly legal products, in a South East Asia country for example. Stick them on there for $15 including shipping and u're away. 120% profit every time and no rent to pay.

I actually sold a record on ebay once. But the buyer didn't send me the money. sad
Actually money would enable to me to buy a beautiful apt. w/ big windows and allow me to decorate the hallway w/ things like Purple Rain lobby cards & Rave Un2... promo flats. Can't imagine being unhappy in a place like that smile

Note: Don't do this. It's wrong. I wasn't suggesting u do anything illegal. I think a record store would be more hands-on and probably more satisfying. There's no such thing as easy money in reality anyway. There's always risk.

Yeah, why is there risk in everything?

Speaking from a personal standpoint, deportation, aruined marriage, future etc.

Not if it's all above board though. But what is above board in business? In my country of residence business and corruption are one and the same. It's the only thing that actually works efficiently here. U can put your faith in it.
