Where's My Christmas Day?

It's been Christmas Day here in Thailand for nearly 14 hours already, yet it seems this day is the same any other.

Except that is for the gift my principal (I'm a teacher at a primary school) gave me, an Oral B dental kit with toothpaste, toothbrush and floss. That was a little strange I must admit. Then again, I am British. brushteeth

Anyway, I'm not at work now. I went in this morning and did a couple of hours. Later I have to teach at a centre from 5:30pm until 8pm. Can u believe that shit? It's Christmas Day!!!

I opened all my presents a week ago when they came by airmail from the UK. sad

Have ordered a turkey for the 27th when we'll have our Christmas Day with family.

Bloody thing cost me nearly $100!

Just wish I had woken up to a pillow case full or presents and had the prospect of Christmas dinner with my family.

No matter. The weather's beautiful here today.

I hear ya man. Hopefully later on when dinners ready it will feel more like Christmas, but so far it seems like any other day off work.

Oh well. Have a good one. wink

Family phoned up a little earlier. My wife had a delicious spaghetti bolognaise waiting for when I got back from work too. That was good! smile

I love Thailand so I don't feel too bad being here. It's great to wake up every morning to beautiful crisp sunny mornings and take the motorbike taxi to work past all the restaurants and the market and whatnot.

Saturday will be my Xmas anyway. Turkey and everything.
