How many of you own a lava lamp?



Would you call it kitsch or trashy?

Well I myself have one and I love it.

Post pics of what kitsch/trash you may have hiding at your home/or what you consider to be really bad taste ornaments etc.

I have a coconut monkey in my bedroom.

It isn't too dissimilar to these two...

One little oddity Ive found is this thing...



Although it can be to some extent be described as kitsch, I think ultimatly its a bit on the trashy side. I do find it rather amusing but who on earth would by it?!!? Parents wanting some kind of reminder of how sane they are?! Who knows. They are selling well though apparently.

What is a Kitsch???
I had a lava lamp when i lived with my parents.. but didn't take it with me.. I liked mine, however i wouldn't use it if i was having a lot of company. it coudl look trashy!
