I always pick up any pennies, nickles or dimes that I find. I have even found a quarter on occasion. I've been keeping track of all the coins that I have found and have been keeping them in a special place. I should have $50.00 by the end of the year. I looove finding change that someone else doesn't want.

I never pick up anything unless it is money in the form of paper. I usually tell my kids
if I see something over a nickle and they will
pick it up. I am with Persia... I throw my pennies on the ground.

depends on my mood, but usually yes i pick things up. shiny things draw me, coins, agates especially, also little glass pebbles and such. seashells when i'm on the beach. guess i have a touch of magpie in me. mind you, i pursue this quirk mainly in the country or suburban areas when no one's looking and not during the working day, downtown and all as the things you find on the street there are... kinda grisly

Yes, one man's loss can be another man's gain, but I stopped picking up coins, thinking I was lucky, after a couple of times when I experienced nothing but bad luck afterwards.

I got rid of the coins and everything returned to normal. So I ain't picking no coins up no more.
