I was gonna start a thread about this movie but I was sure someone had already talked about it. I saw it Sunday and I loved it. Evrything you wanted to say and do to your kids and someone else's and couldn't. I love Billy Bob Thorton.

Agreed! This movie is wonderfully twisted and has a sort of early John Waters sense-of-humor to it. In fact, when I was watching it, I couldn't help but imagine Divine as the Billy Bob Thornton character.

I told my mother NOT to see this movie, as this was the same woman who was offended by "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and "Shakes the Clown."

The only movie I've seen all year that's funnier is "School of Rock."

Speaking of Divine, I just re-read Bernard Jay's bio on da man "Not Simply Divine." It's a good read--if completely one-sided.

Divine was amazing. I loved her/him (I loved his non-drag roles too. Hilly Blue in "Trouble in Mind" was the best part of that stupid movie!)

Movie was allright. Was funny but had major plot flaws.

2.5 out of 4 stars.

Hilarious.

The entire theatre laughed at certain points of the movie. I couldn't hear certain lines because of the laughter.

This movie reminded me of the type of humor that Richard Pryor would enjoy.

I want to watch The Passion, the Mel Gibson movie. The dialogue is in Aramaic and Latin but it has English subtitles. there has been a lot of controversy surrounding the movie, I would like to see it to judge for myself.

I've been reading bad, baaad reviews for "Bad Santa", though not as bad as the reviews of "Cat in the Hat" have been...one promising thing to me is that the guy who directed "Bad Santa" also directed "Ghost World", which is one of my all-time favorite movies.
