altho i am still in the USA, i thought i'd better chuck down my thoughts on my experiences here since my computer at home is on vacation itself.
i don't want to really go into a long drawn review of what i have done while here cuz to be honest i haven't done much except relieve the stress of living in London and forgetting that i have a job that is really not worth the pain. plus getting to know Julie has been the most important thing this week.
being out in Arizona, where the sun shines most of the time and the people seem to be friendly and where there is some of loveliest scenery you can imagine, has opened my eyes up a little. being in the UK over the past few years, there is a rather negative image of America that is sometimes portrayed especially over the past year and a half considering recent world events.
i expected to see the stars and stripes on every street post and draped from every car but to my surprise that was not the case. i understand the love that most Americans have for their country and that is in no way a bad thing.
i found Arizona very comfortable and easy. the warm weather of course being the centre point here.

now having said that, i haven't done much anything since being here. so, when we had the oppurtunity to go to California and meet up with a few more Orgers we jumped at it. we drove from Phoenix to San Diego. i tell you, this world is some sort of beautiful. mountains and valleys and deserts, it's all part of a beautiful plan and we need to take care of that plan.

upon arriving in San Diego, Julie and I had the pleasure of meeting a man with a heart the size of Canada. we met with Chico at his house. i tell you folks, this man is my vote for Orger of the Year. hell somebody call Time, Person of the Year. i have never felt more comfortable with a stranger than with Chico. sounds mad but it's true. i won't go into a long list of praise for the man cuz i bet he is blushing like a tomato right now but all i can say is that Chico, if you are reading this, you will always have a home in London or Bermuda or wherever i choose to live. my door is always open to you sir. i'm certain we will cross paths again real soon. in fact, i'm banking on it.

later we drove up to Los Angeles, never been there before. i guess we didn't see the real L.A. but it was pleasant enuff. as expected, there was a group of orgers there waiting for us. sorry about taking so long guys, you should have started without us.
the master of ceremonies, Supa was holding centre court (like he wouldn't be). there was RayRay, Byron, JanFriend. three really nice people. unfortunately i did not have the time to really talk to these guys except JanFriend who loves her celebrity trivia. (i'm trying to think of a really hard question for her). then Muse showed up and boy did she steal the show. your one classy lady and you know it. yes, we will get to know each other a bit more real soon.
Supa, thanks so much for putting this on. i remember sending you an orgnote asking you to postpone last week's meet up so that i could join in but you went out of your way to organize a follow up. thank you so much. oh and thanks for those cds!! i know i'm going to love them!! don't worry we won't tell
the next day we drove around San Diego. it's a very beautiful city. sunny and warm.
then the drive back to Phoenix where i am typing this now.
i better get outside before the sun is gone.
i will walk away from this trip a very happy man. hopefully i will do it again soon.

just one more thing, some people say that it's foolish to let life pass you by while you sit in front of the computer, messing around on the Org and such. i have to admit that i spend a lot of time here but i love it. all i can say is, look where it has got me. i have met some gorgeous people and got to share in their lives. Chico, Supa, Julie... we all have a common bond and that is our love of music. it's very true that we are very different people but at the end of the day, we are all the same. we all got sumthin', as a very good friend of mine once said.

2 great places to visit. Paradise in some regards but the whole country has so many different cool places. The big cities are cool (especially San Fran) but the mountains in North Carlina can't be described (with words or pictures). Then there's Florida with those sun sets and then there's the deep-ass snow which can be fun too. I'm babbling...the list could go on and on.


Your statement about we all have one thing in common was right on. I think people forget that sometimes here with the drama.

It was nice to meet Milty. Very cool guy. My first time meeting a Londoner. I wish we had more time to chitchat but I am glad he enjoyed his stay and visit to the states. Being relativly new at posting or reading any material on this site I did not know if Milty was a guy or girl I was just told that an orger from England will be joining us for the meet and greet along with Julie. Then I got a chance to talk to him on Chico's cell phone when they were on their way to meet us. I was just curious about the ETA while we were holding down the fort at the resturaunt. At that moment I realized Milty was a dude and a cool one at that. The accent gave it away and plus I wouldn't expect a deep voice coming from a person named Julie. Come again soon.
