What can do you about forum wars, that seems to get a little out of hand? Prince.org was the first forum i ever joined and I tried not 2 really get into with anybody over here, but I have seen a lot forum wars come and go the time I've been on site. A lot of times it gets to the point where the moderator has 2 jump in and lock the thread, or delete it if it's gets out of hand, but my question is...

What do you do when you apart of a forum, that really doesn't have the moderator control and gets way out of hand 2 the point were people are threaten you and posting personal things about you ?

I am at the moment trying to find out if people from France have the same kind of humour I have, but it seems it is UNWILLINGLY veering off towards flaming.

Sometimes people just do not understand eachother...

I would try ignoring it as you did, because they are looking for reactions... but sometimes you just have to move on and get the hell out of there. I have seen it happen many, many times on here, but it is always done in a very passive, subtle way so the moderators really can't do anything about it. Fortunately it usually just resolves itself... people lose interest, the matter gets dropped, so on and so forth.

If you can hang on, if you care that much about this other forum and can tough it out, then I would guess that eventually the shit will stop. Places like these tend to go in cycles and it will eventually be out with the old and in with the new and no one will even remembered what happened...
