As with all computer security, the weakest link in the chain is always the users I reckon whoever it is ought to be taken to court. Surely this would count as fraud, wouldn't it? Impersonating someone else is a crime (or if it isn't, it should be bearing in mind some of the more horrifying things that have happened with chat rooms). Certainly if Rudedog chose to take things further, we can provide evidence (such as server log files etc) that will allow any law enforcement agency to quickly identify the perpetrator. | |
