New girlfriend, would you ask her to take and AIDS test? ON the wings on another thread this one interests me, if you practice safe sex and use protection, been with a girl, or boy, for a few weeks...would you ask them to take the test?
If for example you were at the stage whereby you no longer needed or wanted to use condoms, is it reasonable to ask someone to take an AIDS test? Seems to me that no matter how well you know someone you can never be 100% sure of their sexual history, or the sexual history of the partners they have had. It would be interesting to hear how people would react when you ask them to take the test. "Waiting to be banned"

hmmm, I don't think after a few WEEKS I'd feel I knew someone well enough to trust them to have sex without a condom.
At that point, even if you did both go get an HIV test, you could potentially be in the "window period" from previous relations. I say, be safe for 6 months, if things are going well and you trust the relationship, then get tested and consider having sex without condoms...
