We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color.

Habitat for Humanity is a good organization, though.

I'm doing the ACLU or Lambda this year, I think.

as someone that recieves the benefits of your generosity towards people who are hiv positive or living with aids, thank you from the bottom of my heart. people like you are the reason mylife continues.

i wanted to suggest this as a charity, but did not want to feel like i was guilting someone into it by mentioning my condition.

Butterfli ~ The HIV and AIDS organizations I'm familiar with are fantastic (I work with teens and unfortunately the numbers of affected kids are climbing rapidly) and they've been hit hard but State and National budget cuts. They operate across the spectrum ~ education, research, personal and family support, counseling, medication etc. and are some of the most passionate people I've met in their resolve to end this suffering. Possibly look in your local area to see who is involved there.

Chris ~ you are wonderful. I just love you!
