Meet that fake smile with honest coldness.

I wouldn't consider that person as a friend, so I wouldn't have any contact with them.

In my own life, I've found most of these people deny it and get defensive if confronted--even when confronted kindly. I've asked people to just tell it to me straight out if they have a problem, to come to me personally, but it only made things worse. A few times, people have been great about it.

What I've learned to do is just not reveal much of my true self around them, or give them any opportunity to affect my life. I'm polite, but distant.

I make note of it and avoid contact. I haven't found anything else to work or is it just far more energy then I need to spend? If we lived in small townships where day in and day out we were forced to asociate with the same people then I would have to see it different! However we are in a society of 1000's of people. My theory right or wrong, NEXT! I don't even take the time to dislike them I simply can be in the same room and not bothered!

I can and will only respond to this relating to my physical/direct acquaintences. I am a very outspoken individual... I can read someone like you wouldn't believe. If I gain a sense of this type of behavior... I let it be known right away how it is with me, face-to-face... dead in the eyes. I intimidate most people with my approach and usually can resolve (at least from my stand point) any underlying issue... in other words... they stay out of my way.

~By the way... I don't have any enemies in my direct life heart, usually I take the time to let it be known my intentions/beliefs... I believe I am very fair, too fair sometimes. But don't get me mad.. it can be hell. innocent

What they do?
They smile in your face
All the time they want to take your place
The back stabbers (Back stabbers)

Smiling faces sometimes pretend to be your friend
Smiling faces show no traces of the evil that lurks within
Beware of the handshake that hides a snake
Beware of the pat on the back/It just might hold you back
