Anyway, I do agree with you that life can be good and that we shouldn´t complain about petty things or take the good things for granted. I definitely have my share... I feel confident that in the end you´re better off acknowledging both sides of life. Ignorance is not bliss and never has been.
You can only acknowledge what you percieve...so if you change your perception, you're able to acknowledge everything. If you find yourself needing to avoid and ignore certain aspects of your life in order to be happy, then you're doing something wrong, I agree. | |

I definitely have my share... I understand that your life isn´t perfect either. My comments weren´t aimed at you personally. And like I said, I do understand your point. It just always feels disheartening when I hear that the little things that people appreciate in their lives are often things that I don´t have. To be able to focus on the positive things in life is in some ways a luxury since it assumes that you have a certain standard of living to begin with. I´ve seen many people living in sheds with garbage lying all around. When people see that they think "Why don´t they at least clean up the garbage so that they have something positive to focus on?". The answer to this is that they are so far down on the ladder of life that they are beyond focusing on the little things. If they were just a little bit further up it would have been different. Then they would at least have a fundament to start from. But they don´t. I´m not saying my life is that bad, but I hope you understand my point. Life is good, life is beautiful. While we cannot speak for the world, we can speak for ourselves. We will never feel/see the world and life identical to anyone. We must always respect each individual life, for we can never fully/realistically feel anothers heart of emotion.
