I'm kinda OLD FASHIONED so I never got this, this thing with
the headphones in public shit. (even in the 'walkman' days)
How many of you spend the day with headphones on?
Walkin down the street, on the subway, in the house?
I mean, if you're a jogger i can maybe understand, but DAMN
don't you need to know when you're being addressed, or is it your way of preventing contact with the outside world?

if i'm listenin to sumfin on my record player here at home i have headphones on, but that's only cuz i can't use my floor speakers cuz my downstairs neighbor bugs whenever i have sumfin playin. i gotta have the bass bumpin a little bit, y'know.

I wear headphones while running, lifting weights, working, or basically whatever I'm doing.

I love my RIO S35S mp3 player

I don't think it's that hard to make contact with me as I do have eyes

I wear headphones, cos my music system is in the same room as the TV in our house and to prevent a all out civil war in our living room I have the headphones on!!

Also my music system is connected 2 my computer anyway, so its a case of being stuck in that one area!!

I do have a music system as well in the kitchen and even then I still have 2 wear my headphones, as we live in an apartment above a Lawyers Office, and once when I played my music in the kitchen without the headphones on, I got a knock on the door and it was the Lawyer complaining that he couldnt work, cos of the loud music!!!

IN THE HOUSE is not whut i'm refering to.
we all have reasons to wear them indoors.
BUT in public, it could be quite the 'health hazard'

The only time I wear headphones is when laying out by the pool.
Otherwise, music doesnt sound the same to me right up in my ears
as it does filling a whole room.

Thats just it! I CANNOT plug my ears with earphones, headphones, earplugs, etc. etc. I know a person who sleeps with earplugs & I could NEVER...If someone broke in or who knows what else? I want 2 know about it ASAP.
