I've heard people cough in their sleep, so I'd think sneezing is pretty much the same. They're both involuntary reactions the body has, so I vote yes!

Know what I just remembered? One of my friend's husbands works in a sleep clinic--I can ask him, since he watches/studies all of these people with sleeping problems! I'll get back to ya on the answer...

I don't know, but have you ever sneezed and belched at the same time?

came across this one:

Sneezes and yawns are perfectly doable in our sleep. Or in a coma, for that matter. And what sneezes and yawns have in common explains the situation. Both are involuntary reflexes that are mediated by the brainstem. That's the most "primitive" part of the brain, which controls things like breathing, heartbeat, digestion-- basic life-and-death stuff. No thinking is required in this area, so sneezing and yawning might occur any time the brainstem is ticking along. It's not uncommon for someone in a coma to yawn as a prelude to regaining consciousness, according to Dr. Doctor, our staff medico. A sneeze is just a response to a nasal stimulus. No fancy rationale needed.

It shouldn't be a surprise that we can do something simple like yawn in our sleep. Consider all other the strange stuff people do: talk, walk, sit up and look around, yank all the blankets to their side of the bed... I went snooping for some instructive stories of sleep activities and found the tale of a woman who made and then ate a late-night snack of cat food sandwiches and buttered cigarettes. Physicians say sleep-driving isn't unheard of. Better yet, there have been at least 30 murder trials in which the defendant claimed to be sleepwalking at the time. One man in Canada fell asleep on his couch, then got up and drove 14 miles to his in-laws' house, bludgeoned and stabbed them, cut himself badly in the process, then drove to the police station and confessed. When he woke up in the hospital, he claimed to remember none of it. His attorney offered evidence that the man fit the profile of a sleepwalker, came from a long line of sleepwalkers, and had a history of sleepwalking. Not guilty, said the jury.

like this: "Why can't I see My Farts?" lol

A fart and a sigh are very different things. They might seem like twin exhalations from opposite ends of the same tube. But no, my friend. When you breathe out, you're ridding your body of the byproducts of respiration. Those byproducts are carbon dioxide and water. When you fart, you're ridding your body of the byproducts of bacterial action on undigestible cellulose and carbohydrates in your lower gut. Those byproducts are nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, methane, and perhaps hydrogen sulfide. More than 50% of your fart will be CO2 and hydrogen.

So what do you see when you see your breath? It's the moisture that you exhale as it moves from the warmth of your body to the cold air outside. Warm air can hold more moisture than cold air, so outside your body the moisture condenses and becomes visible. A fart doesn't have the proper water content, so we have no similar tell-tale butt cloud.

And while we're on the subject, as another example of our public service dedication, here's some info on one man's crusade to rid the world of another kind of tell-tale butt cloud. Buck Weimer of Pueblo, Colorado, is married to a woman who suffers from a serious bowel disease that makes her unfortunately fragrant. To spare her the embarrassment and him the smell, he invented UnderEase, air-tight underwear with a strategically located charcoal filter that removes the offending gasses (under-tec.com). The Weimers are used to the snickers; but according to users' testimonials, it's a boon to the afflicted.
