Why so I can be called a racist,too? Here's something of a reply,maybe more later. Some people here are being very naive,yes people should be able to love who they choose,and for the most part,I wish we could all just get along,and not judge,and not make everything a black and white issue...blah,blah,blah. But I think Digital Lisa for instance made some good points,(and Ian,too),but I don't think Tigerlyric is a racist! I am NOT against interracial relationships,I have no problem dating outside my race. But some sistas do have issues in this society,where it seems like any black women who doesn't look like Halle Berry,Janet,or Beyonce is somehow at the low end of the totem pole. I have issues with self esteem anyway(long story),so it doesn't help when I constantly see men I'm attracted to with women who don't look like me-naturally kinky hair(although I do wear relaxers,but that's not the point),big nose and lips,brown skin. Of course,deep down inside I know you really can't help what you're attracted to,but that doesn't help on the days when I'm really not feeling good about myself at all,and see certain men ignore me to go for the girl with long,wavy or straight hair,small nose and lips,and is either biracial,latin or white..
