Yup... my feeling is that if a white woman finds a black guy who loves her, appreciates her, and treats her well... more power to her. I wouldn't say she was abandoning her race... I'd just be happy that she found love. If my younger sisters married black guys, I'd be cool with it as long as they were decent people. Finding a loving relationship with a good, sincere person is hard enough... tailoring it to suit specific aesthetic requirements such as skin tone, hair colour etc is just asking way too much 
And I wouldn't give a fuck about any silly notions of "diluting our Irish blood"

When I went 2 school last yr, we took a servay asking something like should things be seperated between races and like 80% of the students voted yes.With Bush being President in all, it seems like that's the way the world will be going, we moving backwards instead of fowards in this country. Once people start 2 see that nobody has control, I think we all can be free and learn how 2 live with each other, but until then it'll be a hard battle 2 fight and long race 2 run, however

2/3 of my children are of mixed races 'halfbreeds'
one of them (my lil baby) has a white mother. she will no doubt have a much harder time in her future because she has in her nine years had it rugher that the other two, but she will have it better later because everyone will want to be with her. Different cultures and different people all hold different ideals of beauty. For example, some African cultures value heavier, bigger women as being the ideal, so I don't judge if I see a black guy with a white woman who is a bit chubbier than my own tastes prefer. To say that white women who date black guys are usually "trailer tramps" is just ridiculous though. Also, when dating a person from outside your own culture or race, such assumptions about beauty are thrown out the window anyway. For example, my wife is Japanese but the type of Japanese woman I find beautiful probably differs quite a lot from what a Japanese guy might be attracted to. Same goes for the black women I might find attractive... they won't necessarily be the ones that makes a black man's jaw drop. Tastes are different, and thankfully there are tastes so varied around the world that almost every shape, size and colour is permitted the opportunity to procreate Do you realize what you just said without saying it? You basically said you're attracted to women outside your race who look less ethnic than what they are. At least that's what it sounds like (i.e. a light-skinned black girl with thin lips and a small nose or the asian girl who's eyes aren't as "asian" looking). | |
