I almost lost an eye.....and how was YOUR 4th of July? So, I'm standing about 30 ft away from the firework display, when I feel a THUD on my forehead...
Wait, let me backtrack... I set up some illegal fireworks (air-borne) at a family party. My sister in law is lighting them one at a time. Well, as she lights the bottle rockets, she knocks it down. THIS FUCKER COMES SCREECHIN' AT ME LIKE IT'S LOCKED IN!! THUD!! Right between the eyes!  *
If you've ever been cut on the head, you know that LOTS OF BLOOD oozes out. I'm on all 4's, wiping my forehead on the wet grass trying to cool it down. Luckily, I got some quick aid and I'm back to normal.  Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |

Oh my gosh, I am glad you are ok.
When I was younger my parents were friendly with a couple who had 3 boys...  I was young but they were all gorgeous, so I used to fight with them. Damian was my age and he was one of the most beautiful males I have ever met. Not pretty beautiful, but handsome beautiful. I think we secretly fancied each other, but were too young for that so we fought. 
Anyway, one November 5th he (I dunno why) but was messing about with fireworks, one of them let off in his face, blowing all his features away. He wears a mask now, and has had so many skin grafts. Growing up, I thought he would be a heart breaker, he broke my heart when I heard the sad news. Unfortunately our families lost touch, but he is still a beautiful person and I hope he is living a happy life now. | |

Sorry to here about your near half blind experience! My holiday has been real sucky! I think I'm on the verge of breaking up with my Bf of nearly 7 years! Listening to landslide and tearing up is just about what I've done this weekend.  In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |
