i've got a question. my cousin recently had a baby and named him Jah, after her favorite rapper to my dismay.. would any of you consider naming your child after your fav actor, singer or would that be just a little too fanatical?

It depends on the name of the artist. I would never call my child Prince, but Roger isn't that bad. I actually think Jah sounds pretty cool. It had been worse if she called him Jah Rule, but just Jah sounds cool and special.
Naming your kid after your fav singer etc. can be just fine, as long as you have some common sense about it. Personally, I think Michael Jackson went a little bit overboard...

It is difficult though, cos if you genuinely like a name, and then you hear of a celebrity named the same, ppl presume you named them after that person.


Luckily the names I like arent celebrity orientated...so I am safe --- for now..
