I picked up some Thai food to go about a week or 2 ago, and realized the next day that I don't think I paid for it. I'm going to be at that restaurant tonight--should I tell them I don't think I paid?

Yep...if the are your local Thia store, it's probably a good idea to be on there good side.

If the food is that good and you are returning, best own up...they will be pleased and so will you in the long run. They might even give you some freebies for your honesty.

well, if it's a small local store then i'd say yeah 'cause they probably won't forget..they may not tell you that but if you don't pay, x-ray your food the next time you eat!

Yes, I think I'll have to cause I've been feeling guilty. If they were a big corporation or something, I probably wouldn't care so much, but I think it's a family-owned business, so I really have to be honest with them!

I have to admit, there was a part of me that was thinking "well, maybe this is just the universe's way of rewarding me for something good I did" But I promise, I didn't do it on purpose, it was an accident. I'll figure out which day it was I was in, and then ask them if they came up short that day because I think I forgot to pay.

Well, I went back and I am glad I brought it up. Turns out the waitress/cashier had to put it (the money she was short that night) in the till out of her own money. I did the right thing!
