ok... Ellis is thinking with a clearer head today, so this thread should be far more coherent...

i was listening to bruce springsteen today... "atlantic city" to be exact...

and these lines have always been my favorite part of the song:

everything dies, baby, that's a fact
but maybe everything that dies someday comes back...

and those lines always make me stop and think... and this time, it got me to thinking about the org...

the org seemed to me like it was going into a downhill slump there for a while... it was ceasing to be fun... there were still your usual orgers that keep things lively in here, but even they were becoming more scarce...

and the place had started to become overrun with negativity... everybody bitching about something, and nobody having a single positive thing to say... just "fuck this" and "fuck that"...

the org had died for me...

and then, within the past couple of days, it seems to have gotten back to old times... people seem happier... people are posting positive things... we're joking around with each other... people aren't so bitchy... and the people that make this place so much damn fun are starting to come back out again...

the org had died, but it has come back... ...

it feels good in here again... ...

don't think i'm pussying out on y'all or going soft, but - dammit, i love you guys...

everybody, give youself a pat on the back... let's all try to keep the org the way it is now... ... or let's keep trying to make it better...



i'm still the org pimp, though... ... i'm not going soft, just giving props where props are due...

yes, i have done blue... i did a color called midnight blue, back in the day...

it was wonderful for the first few weeks... if you've ever done these colors before, you know they fade- generally just into a lighter color...

with the blue however, when it starts fading, it gets a little greenish, because of the mixing of the blue with the blonde from the bleaching...

so, i liked it... it was like 2 colors in one... ... blue for a few weeks and then some greenish-blue... and then some green...
