Baby Ducks This made my morning... while going out to my car this morning, to take my son to school, we saw the CUTEST little ducks, following their mommy and another duck. Five little babies! My kids were thrilled... they've watched the mom lay on the eggs for about a week now and two days ago my son told me that there wasn't anything there but egg shells and the mom was gone... this morning, coming out of the pond, was the entire family! YAY! God, that the cutest thing.
On my way back home, they were all walking along the walk in front of me and my daughter... we had to wait for them to pass by before I could go up to my place. They were just so sweet.  | |

That meant a lot this morning... as I was having a shitty morning... that really did make my day. There are gobs of ducks around here... we have five ponds around and you can always catch them swimming... but nothing was as cute as seeing the entire family coming out of the water after a swim and walking around! | |

I saw some babies last weekend...so ADORABLE We saw a few families of geese and goslings and a mallard duck family
They are just so precious. There is a mom bunny that always has her babies near my mom's yard...I hope she does this year. A few years ago she had them in my mom's neighbor's yard and the neighbor's daughter was about two at the time...Leeann (the neighbor) went out to check on the babies and make sure they were ok (the mom nested them right in the middle of the backyard) and she saw that they were gone...she looked everywhere for them and then saw her daughter in her little play house...she was in the house having a tea party with the baby bunnies...
Needless to say, her mom put the babies back and they were fine -- grew up to be big, fat adult bunnies | |
