Well child, I can't help what someone takes offense to, especially if I'm not being offensive. But if you thought about it, you'd remember my reply on this.

The Shrek movies will keep your attention and make you laugh The Shrek movies are ok.They were popular when I was in middle school I found out a few years ago that Chris Farley was suppose to be the original voice of Shrek and even did some voiceover work that can be found on YouTube |

I've seen all 2 or 3 cuts of Close Encounters of the Third Kind. The one with the inside of the ship feels cheap, but they sorta forced him to do that. I forget why.
I have the bluray set that has all 2 or 3 versions on it.
I've only seen 2 or 3 Tarantino movies. I've zero interest in his movies or him as a human being. But I've seen Pulp Fiction, Django Unchained, and maybe Reservoir Dogs.
The Shrek movies are boring as shit to me. I tried to watch the first one, but even Eddie as Donkey didn't save it for me. It wasn't funny, endearing, or engaging.
The Alien films are great, especially that first one.

I've tried to watch Alien before but I just couldn't make it through. The thing through the chest bit put me off and I'll never go back to it. I understand what you mean about Tarantino. He's a despicable human being at the best of times but some of his movies are pretty good. Some of them are pure tripe though. |

I'd mostly agree. The exceptions would be Dreamworks' The Boss Baby, How To Train Your Dragon, Monsters and Aliens. I couldn't care less about Kung Fu Panda or anything else. I did watch Trolls. Meh.
With Sony Animation, the exception is Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. It was a good father-son story. But even that doesn't stand up against something like Inside Out. Shit like The Emoji Movie, The Angry Birds Movie, or the Aladdin pure ripoff Wish Dragon is just garbage, IMO. I mean honestly - a movie about emojis? That's all Sony has in them????
What's next? Word: The Life and Times of Clippy?
I don't know if it's the animation style, the stories, or whatever, but they don't hit the same as a Pixar film.

I haven't seen most of those but I loved Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs. |
