What popular movie have you never seen?

I think everyone might have one of these

But what popular movie have you never seen either because it makes you fall asleep or because it bores you and doesn't hold your interest

My answer is this one here.Ive tried maybe 5 times over the years and I always fall asleep.I know it's regarded as a classic but I don't see it that way

There was a similar questionaire poll on FB about this. Popular movies that you think everyone has seen (but you). For me, "The Color Purple", "Titanic" and "Schindler's List".

The Exorcist...also have never seen any of these "Marvel" movies...i have no interest in Ironmans or Captain America or Thor or any of the make believe "superhero" movies...ive never even seen "Black Panther"...im not really into watching movies that much...just sports, and comedy (mostly standup) and documentaries

It's not a movie but I'd also add Breaking Bad to the list. Everyone always recommends it to me but it just looks painfully uninteresting to me.

Yeah this thread will get massive if we include every overhyped watercooler-TV-drama-of-the-week of the last 20 years in this.

Spoiler-Alert: They all look painfully uninteresting. I tune out the second whoever's recommending these busts out their trademark line:

"Now, it starts slow, but stick with it! It really picks up in the middle of like the second season."

k, so, only some 70 hours of content later does it get good? These people all swear up and down that movies are inferior because of lack of character development, too. Well when you have friggin' 90 episodes to build character I'd certainly hope the development is superior. No wonder every movie is like 4 hours now, the whole industry has been corrupted.

Breaking Bad was really good, actually btw, but that doesn't negate my rant.

It also didn't prevent me from jumping in like the middle of Season 4 during an AMC marathon and perfectly enjoying the rest of the series without the molasses "slow build, you gotta stick with it!" of the early seasons.

I've started The Godfather three times in the last decade, and can't find the patience. I'm probably choosing the wrong times to do it.

Also:

A Clockwork Orange

Jaws

On The Waterfront

Sunset Boulevard

The African Queen

Chinatown

The Grapes of Wrath

The Maltese Falcon

Dr. Strangelove

Apocalypse Now

Doctor Zhivago

Taxi Driver

The Philadelphia Story

M*A*S*H

Cry Baby

Vertigo

The French Connection

Ben-Hur

There are a good amount of AFI's Top 100 I've not seen. Yet.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

Craziest thing happened to me tonight
I was binge watching the Pete Davidson show "Bupkis" on peacock.I thought there 10 episodes
So after episode 8,on came on what I thought was another episode
But this time it had completely different actors ...I thought wtf is going on? Then I was like maybe it's a prequel or giving it a backstory that will somehow tie in with the previous episodes...then I got sleepy and decided to pause it.Then it says I'm watching some show called "Based on a true story"

So I realized I had watched all of Bupkis and was watching a completely different show

Kinda sucks that peacock decided to automatically play a different show after I finished the one I was meant to be watching

Then you are not going to like Across the Spider-verse - It has different animation depending on which universe you are in.

Well child, I can't help what someone takes offense to, especially if I'm not being offensive. But if you thought about it, you'd remember my reply on this.
