ShellyMcG said: I hated Shazam. Also, Same I paid to see it. I know I shouldn't have. But I thought I'll go just to get out the house, see a movie. Maybe it will be ok at best. I regretted it. I felt myself sighing lol I could not wait for the movie to finish, but I did. I did watch Shazam 2. On streaming. Didnt like it either. Black Adam was ok, not perfect but I enjoyed it I will take my place, In the great below

If I don't like a movie I don't watch the sequels That's fair. And that actually makes me think has there ever been a really bad first movie with a really good sequel? I can't think of any.

If anybody is interested (which I doubt on this site ), Jennifer Garner is returning as Elektra in Deadpool 3. Read here. Patrick Stewart (Professor X) already appeared in the 2nd Doctor Strange movie and it was announced last year that Hugh Jackman was also gonna be in Deadpool 3. There were Tobey Maguire & Andrew Garfield in Spider-Man No Way Home. Lou Ferrigno did a cameo in the MCU and also did some voices for Mark Ruffalo's Hulk.. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Try again El Mariachi. Ok so it wasn't terrible but it wasn't that good either. But the sequel, Desperado, was really good. That's the best I can come up with

Well I was more thinking of a movie that was panned by critics and bomb at the box office such as Showgirls or The Adventures of Pluto Nash for example. So let's say Showgirls and The Adventures of Pluto Nash both had sequels (which they didn't) and the sequel was way better than the first. Now Friday the 13th series doesn't really fit this question because all critics have always panned slasher movies (well maybe not the orginal Halloween).

Really? Your like the only person I know who likes the Friday the 13th movies but not the first one. I assume we are talking about the 1980 and not the 2009 film. I like the first one the best. Thought out all the Friday the 13th films this was sppoky feel to it. I like how isolated and alone the camp setting felt. I feel parts 2, 3 and 4 were good too and tried it's best to live up to part 1. By part 5 (which Jason wasn't even the killer) they tried to shake up the Friday the 13th franchise with such movies as Jason in Space, Jason goes to hell amd Jason in Manhattan. Some criticism of part 2 was Jason wearing that sack over his head. I thought he still looked scary. Friday the 13th part 1 is the only movie they play on cable on a regular rotation. Part 1 has Mrs Voorhees. Everyone love Mrs Voorhees Plus it has Kevin Bacon

I like the first Friday the 13th but it's not nearly as good as part 2 and 3 It may have Mrs vorhees but it doesn't have jason Ive never heard any fan prefer the original Friday the 13th out of the entire series Imo the only good things about the first one is the decapitated scene and crazy Ralph

Rotten Tomatoes will be here with this list of every Friday the 13th movie ranked by Tomatometer! Critics Consensus: Rather quaint by today's standards, Friday the 13th still has its share of bloody surprises and a '70s-holdover aesthetic to slightly compel.

Critics Consensus: Jason may solidify his iconic wardrobe in this entry, but Friday the 13th Part 3 lacks any other distinguishing features, relying on a tired formula of stab and repeat.
