TV Shows That Should Return With so many TV show revivals in recent times, are there any shows from yesteryear that haven't yet made a comeback that you'd like to see get revived? Be it as a continuation with the original cast or a complete remake with new actors. To get the ball rolling, I'd like to see Married With Children make a return. Even if it was just for a one off reunion special or something. I'd love to see what Al Bundy is up to now and how he'd get on in the 21st century.

There were rumors that a "Married" spinoff was going to air, but with Bud and his wife and family. From the 80's, I would have liked to have seen a return/re-cast of "L.A. Law" and "thirtysomething"..(I guess now it would have been "sixty" or "seventysomething"..the original cast is still alive).

I'm not sure I'd be fully onboard with Bud being the main character though but I'll take it over nothing.

Yeah they do "reunions" on TV like every like 10 years or so. Everyone's out of character and they just sit around on the old set and talk old times and show clips.
The Pilot is "out there" on the Yousual Tube sources... [Edited 7/7/23 19:03pm] [Edited 7/7/23 19:04pm]

My daughter asked me about ALF a few days ago. I wonder what they'd do with that. 3rd Rock from the Sun maybe. I really would mind a conclusion/reunion show of SGU. Ugly Betty. Time keeps on slipping into the future...
This moment is all there is...

Another show I'd like to see come back is Firefly. I'd love to see what the crew are up to these days and how Zoe is getting on without Wash. It probably won't happen because of Joss Whedon though.

I believe most shows end and should just stay that way. Not everything needs a reboot for the sake of nostalgia or whatever. Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

You raise a few good points Trivial. For the most part, the shows I'd like to see rebooted are shows that didn't have a proper ending. They brought Deadwood back for a one off special a few years ago and my cousin was so excited at the prospect of it that she made me watch the whole series of it so I'd be "ready for the movie". And I'm glad I did because while westerns are really not my thing, that was a fantastic show that really deserved a proper conclusion. And speaking of my cousin, another one of her favourite shows is coming back later this month in Justified. Now, I've seen Justified and I think it's probably in my top 5 tv shows of all time. But I'm not anywhere near as excited about it as she is. For me, Justified already had a perfect ending which I won't spoil in case anyone here wants to watch it. But it was perfect, I'll say that. I'll still watch it but I'm not expecting much. Although the reviews have been great so who knows. Another show I'd love to see come back is Terra Nova. I don't know if anyone here has ever heard of it but it was a cool little sci fi show where people of a future earth travel back in time to escape extinction and try to set up restart human civilization a million years ago. I love those kinds of stupid ideas. Unfortunately it only got one season before it was cancelled but I really liked it even if nobody else did

Frasier is actually coming back. Which is really good timing because I just started watching the original show recently. They have it on TV every morning so I start my days off with Frasier and co.

Jerry and Richards were in a Crackle ad, together. Jerry has also had Louis-Dreyfus, and Richards,on his Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee show. Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

That would be awesome.idk how much you know about Seinfeld but the show wasn't on a decline. It still Drew great ratings in it's final season I guess Jerry Seinfeld was tired of doing it Reruns come on just about everyday on comedy central and I always bust out laughing. Sadly some of the casts has passed away.George's mom and dad were hilarious Episodes with Elaine trying to dance and her boss eating a Snickers bar with a knife and fork like it's a huge steak just cracks me up And let's not forget the "shrinkage" episode when George is just getting out of the pool and a woman walks in on him.As she apologizing she is looking at his privates and she starts trying to hold on her laughter Only for George to yell out I was in the pool!!!!! Then Elaine says "idk how you guys walk around with those anyway " And the Teri hatcher episode when she says "they are real and they're spectacular " Ok I'm through now

I can't remember his name but you know that grey haired guy? I loved that part where he takes Elaine to the cinema to watch some snooty movie and she's losing her mind because it's so bad. He turns to her and asks if she's not enjoying the movie and she just screams "I HATE IT" Or anything with George's dad. He was always great in every scene. Especially in the outtakes. "You want a piece of me?"

I don't mind TV shows coming back with the orignal cast. Some shows that come to mind was the X-Files, Murphy Brown and Will & Grace. I hate when they remake them.

Not really the same show without her plus the name change I guess I'm saying it was short lived with all the original cast That reminds me I once had a therapist who looked just like Rosanne. So I would be in my sessions and it would be just like talking to Rosanne Arnold I finally got the nerve to tell her she looked like Rosanne .... I don't think she took it as a compliment [Edited 7/12/23 14:07pm]
