Science Ninja Team Gatchaman: 50th Anniversary Thread

50 years ago on this day today, Fuji TV and Tatsunoko Productions would unleash what is to be considered one of the great Animes of all time, it would pave the way for many U.S. spinoffs like Battle Of The Planets, G-Force: Guardians Of Space and Saban's Eagle Riders

I was about 8 & so into Battle of the Planets that I got my dad to watch with me once. When he looked uninterested I didn't understand.
