2001 Movies I keep a spreadsheet of every movie I've ever seen. I've not always kept it since spreadsheets didn't exist at some point in the past. But a few years ago I worked my way through Wikipedia, year by year and looked at the films released each year. It took a while, but I believe my list is about 99% correct. I list the movie and the year of release. I bold the few that I own on physical media. (I don't much buy movies or TV on DVD anyway.) Free Guy - 2021 Turning Red - 2022 West Side Story - 2022 Jackass Forever - 2022 Jungle Cruise - 2022 Batman, The - 2022 Noah - 2014 Grandma - 2015 Age of Innocence, The - 2003 Spider-man: No Way Home - 2021 Firestarter - 2022 So I Married An Axe Murderer - 1993 Lost City, The - 2022 Ghostbusters Afterlife - 2022 Fire Island - 2022

I had a friend who was a movie nut. Kept a list. He saw at least two movies in theaters per week for his whole life. Not a lot of mainstream hits either. Another friend keeps all her ticket stubs, movies and concerts. She recently sent me pics of the two Prince concerts I took her to, 1993 at Radio City and 1994 benefit concert at the Palladium, a club (torn down long ago). But someone like you with a spreadsheet probably also has a rating system, maybe even an all-time ranking, right?

What did you think of the new batman movie? I highly recommend the new horror movie "X" It is probably the best horror movie I've seen in a long time.IMO it's similar to Texas chainsaw massacre but better"

My impression of The Batman was that it felt like a crime drama where Batman was just sorta an afterthought. Not in a bad way. It felt suspenseful and I wanted to know more as these things started to show themselves. Bruce Wayne in it was sort of a bonus. Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

I never got to see the movie list, tho I did see a bit of his record/CD list, which he typed on a typewriter on long sheets. (I think about 15,000 of those.) He was considerably older, and died a while ago. No service. The best way I could think to mourn him was to try and remember and write down all the movies we had seen together, about 100 over 20 years.

I dated a guy who kept a handwritten binder of everything he ever watched, dates ,times with a short review. I have zero patience to do that though there are times it've been useful. Time keeps on slipping into the future...

I'm quite sure that I've never watched any more than about 50 films in my entire life. It's possibly slightly more than that when I really think about it, but not many. Just never been a fan of the medium. Wasn't that interested as a kid, then when I hit my teens it was all music, music, music. Formerly TheDigitalGardener etc.
