What's your favourite conspiracy theory??

For fun I like the Paul McCartney died and was replaced one.

For seriousness, the what is at the north pole theory.

I don’t follow, but there are some fans who believe mj is alive and faked his death. I don’t believe it but when I was grieving, I did believe it some days, cause it was too horrible to believe he was gone

There were A LOT of odd things surrounding his passing. Body moving in helicopter, person leaving ambulance, empty coffin, family saying odd things but I do think he's gone. Sadly.

I honestly don't listen to them. They irritate me, and it wastes my time. Now listen, I get the humor of crazy people believing weird shit. It's fun to laugh at them.

I remember one video of a woman filming the water sprinkler in her back yard. The mist of the water and the sun had created a rainbow. Instead of realizing that happens in the sky etc., she believed there was something in the "wurtur that thu gub'nent put thur! Someone needs to find out wut the gub'nent is dooin' to our wutur people! Wake up!"

I had people around me talking about lizard people, and Satanic pedophile rings, baby harvesting, etc. BEFORE pumpkin came into office! They don't even believe doctors because anyone can be paid off. Anyone and everyone is being paid off, etc etc.

I realized, it was hampering my happiness. It was not just negativity, it was... I don't know. There was a spirit about it that kept beating me down. So, I stopped hanging around them, stopping following their social media. They're still doing what they do and I'm just gonna do me.

Ultimately, I have realized in the 2nd act of my life, I don't have time for it anymore.

My aunt and her husband believed, for a while, that Elvis was still alive. Had photos and everything. He did eventually die. I told her, as popular as Elvis was, and as long as he's been "dead," how would someone not find him by this point? Same with Hitler or JFK. How are these people not being found out in a big way? Why is the news not documenting it?

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

Yes I remember jermaine saying when mj headed to the airport and then quickly corrected it to hospital. And how at LAX it was closed down and only one flight left or something like that, too far back to remember. Things like that used to make me hopeful but not anymore

Jermaine needs to mind his own business, and stop using Sharpies™ on his hairline.

If one dropped a cueball from the top of the World Trade Center, it would fall slower than the buildings actually fell.

That doesn't even make sense, either! hahaha A ball falling free fall and a building collapsing on itself are entirely different things. Not exactly the old "Feather and bowling ball" trick.

See, this is why I don't read 'em.

There is nothing at the North Pole apart from Santa Claus' workshop, where he lives with his wife, his elves and his reindeer.

Pop culture (Paul is Dead) and Big Foot are some fun ones but from a historical perspective, conspiracy theories have been closely linked to prejudice, witch hunts, wars, and genocides.

Conspiracy theorists see themselves as having privileged access to knowledge that separates them from the masses who believe the official account.

Belief in conspiracy theories is generally not based on evidence, but in the faith of the believer.

As human beings, we all have biases, realize them when you see them. Conspiracy theories exploit several cognitive biases - proportionality bias, attribution bias, and confirmation bias.

I don't follow those things. Doesn't mean I don't have any, I have cornball ideas as much as anyone else and just as proud of them, I just don't spend much time researching or thinking about them. And at the rate of technology and break thrus these days too busy.

About 10 miles away from Santa Claus' workshop there is the fortress of solitude

I don't do conspiracies/conspiracy theories. The rise of that crap in the last 30 or so years, right along with internet culture is, imo, a pretty major part of what is wrong with the world right now. I just don't do it. To the point that I've lost friends who couldn't understand that I just didn't want to talk about their latest complete nonsense for the 15th time.

Gotta admit, if anyone was ever going to pull something like this off successfully, it would have been him.

And I would not blame him one bit.

The world's problems like climate change can only be solved through strategic long-term thinking, not expediency. In other words all the govts. need sacking!

If you can add value to someone's life then why not. Especially if it colors their days...

Conspiracy Theories are the oldest form of "Trolling"

So what's your point about no more politics on this site?

Politics = Trolling
