What is your dream invention? I say dream invention because it will most likely be on that would never be made My invention would be for someone to invent a way for us to talk to our loved ones that have passed away Would be nice if heaven has a phone number. I just think it would comfort a lot of us if there was a way to talk to them until we leave this earth

The world's problems like climate change can only be solved through strategic long-term thinking, not expediency. In other words all the govts. need sacking!
If you can add value to someone's life then why not. Especially if it colors their days...

Given the opportunity and the means, I would invent a Super Powerful vibrator to satiate all the women out there who value sex over emotional intimacy. And trust me, there are enough of them out there, that these vibrators would sell like hot cakes. A special brush where you could wash, shampoo and dry your hair in 10-15 min. I invented it for a school project in junior high, but my asshole dad talked me out of it and helped me invent something else and I got a C on it, ugh!

I like that watch from that movie where you could freeze time and mess with stuff and then unfreeze it.

A door that can only be opened from the inside. (Yes, I dreamed that once.) If you take any of this seriously, you're a bigger fool than I am.

Stick the key, dude! Then deadlock it 5 times! Don't forget the chain, either, in case they get through all that (aluminum bat behind the door) "Whatever skin we're in
we all need 2 b friends" | |

When I was in my 20s, I thought a coffee pot with a weighted heating element would be great. The fuller the carafe is from coffee, the more heat that's applied to keep it hot. The more people empty the carafe, the lighter the heat is under on the hot plate element. Because we've all seen that last bit of coffee in the pot that is under such high heat, it evaporates a bit, then burns and stains the bottom of the carafe. If the heat was a bit less to compensate for that, it'd probably not happen. Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

No, the one I saw was from 1980, The Girl, the Gold Watch and Everything. (Followed by a sequel, The Girl, the Gold Watch and Dynamite, which I never saw.) I'll check out your movie if I get a chance, mainly for Jesse Bradford, who was a babe.

Haha like that scene in SpongeBob SquarePants when SpongeBob goes into his friend Patrick's dream and he's dreaming of being on one of those coin operated horse things. And despite knowing it's a dream and that he could ride around on a real horse he's content to stay on the coin operated one. Then SpongeBob leaves and Patrick accidentally drops his coin down a manhole and goes "oh shoot, that was my last quarter" and he just sits there doing nothing for the rest of his dream. I have three young children, I watch a lot of cartoons. Can you tell?

Here's another idea: if you had a time machine, would you travel forward in time to see how your life will look like 10 or 20 years from now? [Edited 1/15/22 11:08am] If you take any of this seriously, you're a bigger fool than I am.

I'd be extremely disappointed to go 10 years into the future and find out I was dead though.... That would kind of kill the mood somewhat.
