Robin Williams fans shocked by actor Jamie Costa’s spot-on impersonation
Costa’s impersonation of Williams first made headlines in 2015, when he shared a tribute to Williams a few months after his death. In that video, Costa delivered his own version of several of Williams’s best-known characters. The new clip, which Costa recently shared on YouTube, features Costa as Williams on the set of the sitcom Mork & Mindy. His version of Williams is getting ready to film when his co-star Pam Dawber, portrayed here by Sarah Murphree, informs him that comedian John Belushi has died. Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking. | |

Oh wooooow. He does. It's uncanny. I loved Mork & Mindy.
And then I get this. Robin Williams’ Daughter Zelda Asks Fans to Please Stop Sending Her Videos of Impersonator Jamie Costa by KRISTYN BURTT OCTOBER 13, 2021 AT 11:53AM AM EDT "Guys, I’m only saying this because I don’t think it’ll stop until I acknowledge it… please, stop sending me the ‘test footage,’ she wrote on Twitter. “I’ve seen it. Jamie is SUPER talented, this isn’t against him, but y’all spamming me an impression of my late Dad on one of his saddest days is weird.” You can feel the pain in her tweet because she didn’t want address the video in the first place — not because Costa isn’t doing good work — but because grief lingers for a family well beyond a funeral. ..... So don't do it. [Edited 10/13/21 18:37pm] Time keeps on slipping into the future...
