Star Wars visions

After reading an article about how great this series is - I reluctantly watched it today - 1st episode and 2nd … I gotta admit I didn’t last thru the second ep but I did like the first one …
Colonel Angus may be smelly. colonel angus may be a little rough . but deep down ... Colonel angus is very sweet.

My cousins like it and recommended it to me. I saw a clip of the first one, looked interesting.

I'm not an anime fan, not even back in the Speed Racer days. To each his own. But I'm going to check out Visions. Feels like an intriguing remix of Star Wars stuff. Because I honestly hate the 2D CGI animation of The Clone Wars and The Bad Batch. It's not engaging, and it can be "artsy" for so long before I'm running out of the room.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

I've never watched any of the Star Wars cartoons. I've heard they're supposed to be very good but the animation just looks so cheap. I don't know if I would be able to get fully invested in the story because of it.

I liked Star Wars droids back in 1985. It was an intresting because C3P0 and R2D2 were always changing "masters" after 3 episodes, so basicaly 3 episodes equal to one big story then off to a new adventure. Some people might not care for the animation but I love 70's 80's artwork the best (and that goes for comics as well). It's only a few years after Return of the Jedi and still feels like the original trilogy. Anthony Daniels provides his voice and we get to see more of Boba Fett which is always a plus.

These are other animators that were given free reign to use Star Wars characters, etc., and create their own animated short. It seems that most of them are in the Japanimation style. Each video is its own short, it's not a longer series or anything, that I know.

I was never a huge fan of anime, but I'm interested in how these animators drew these characters.

Well it definitely looks better than The Clone Wars and Rebels anyway.

So I'm on episode 8, and it's so good! Each episode is very distinct, a great story. Common elements are the crystal that powers a light saber, "I've got a bad feeling about this," and other minor accoutrements.

I'm so not a fan of anime/Japanimation, but I've really enjoyed these short films. Each one averages 18-20 minutes. The Elder was really good, TO-B1 was cute and almost felt like Pinocchio, The Village Bride was an odd story. The Twins made me think of old Speed Racer episodes for some reason. The Ninth Jedi had a good twist in it. But I think my favorite was Tatooine Rhapsody.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.
