I've used it for a couple of years. I love it. It's based on Chromium, so it runs like Chrome, uses all the extensions, the preferences are in the same place, etc. It runs faster, IMO.

Also, and most importantly, it doesn't have all the Google tracking stuff in the background. I don't have Chrome on my computers at all. Firefox is just trash that locks up almost every computer I've had in the last decade. I don't have or use Edge, and I've never really used Safari on my MacBook Air.

I'd highly recommend Brave. I still use AdBlock, but Brave has a built in pop up blocker, which is easily disabled. There's a Brave icon to the right of the URL that can be switched off on a site that says you're still using an adblocker.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

domainator

I used to use it when I was using Linux. Maybe I will again (I'm now on FreeBSD). It was good - it blocked ads on Youtube, had "ad blocking", though donno how good it is, and also had TOR mode. It also has the BAT token, but that was useless because it kept popping up REALLY annoying ads in the top right WHILE I was surfing, so I turned it off. You can get paid for that though.

Hi Graycap,

It's been my browser of choice on my home PC and phone for a good few years now. It's quick and robust. I can highly recommend it.
