They aren't producing shows, and Jackass 3 has been many years back in 2010. Bad Grandpa, which was sorta under the Jackass umbrella was 2013; it was half script, half prank (sorta like a Borat film). I think there was a 2.5 or 3.5 with outtakes and stuff that didn't make it into the show. May have been streaming only.

So aside from that, there hasn't been a full Jackass movie in 11 years. I'm sorta suprised they pulled one out. The guys are older, more sober (eg: Steve O), married with kids (Knoxville), etc.

Not saying it's time for a 4th, but eh. It's whatever.

Why even have a new Jackass? Feels so old hat and one note..who in this day and age would find any of their jokes and pranks funny at this stage of life? Arent these near middle age men with families and businesses?

A part of me feels bad for Magera or anybody else that's still kind of stuck in that phase of life where they would actually need to do this- because let's be honest, this is clearly about money. I remember the height of his popularity on MTV with the shows, all the family involved and thinking, this train is not going to coast forever...hope he has sound financial advice to plan for the future...

Oh well, good luck with however it all turns out. I don't even know 15 year olds who would be interested in this kind of thing, but have at it, I guess (shrugs shoulders).
