Man, I skipped that BS for 2 reasons [speaking as a comic book fan of course!]:

1. A Harley Quinn film would have been way better if it had Poison Ivy [Harley's on again/off again girlfriend] & Catwoman as Gotham City Sirens. THAT would have been a far more interesting action film.

2. The real members of Birds Of Prey are Day 1 original co-founders Batgirl, Huntress, & Black Carney. Without those 3, forget it! And if we must have reserved members, Vixen & Hawkgirl would have been good choices.

I've disliked the vast majority of DC movies since Batman Returns and thought that Suicide Squad was especially terrible. But, for some reason, I had some hope that Suicide Squad 2 would be a decently entertaining movie. Something along the lines of Guardians of the Galaxy would have sufficed. But then the trailer came out and I don't think I've seen as bad a trailer as that since the Ghostbusters reboot. I genuinely try to give these things a fair chance but then they release trailers like this that just makes me feel stupid to think that I thought maybe this time would be different. If anything good has come from the Suicide Squad sequel its that it has killed off any interest I had in DC movies. So I'll never have to be disappointed again.

The only DC movie that's confirmed to be coming out that I will watch is The Flash movie. Not that I think it will be good. Just that I'm curious to see how they're going to ruin the Michael Keaton Batman.

The movie was worst than Battle Field Earth.

I thought for sure with director James Gunn it be good. Then I see the trailer and think ugh. It just reminds how much i disliked the first movie. I'm not gonna lie, I'll watch it, but I'm not going to pay to see it. Who knows maybe it'll be good

Movie critics gave it an average 3/5. I can confirm, it is possibly the worst movie of all time. Though I haven't seen Suicide Squad.

I too am not familiar with the DC universe. I wasnt a fan of their comics. Most of what do know came from cartoons. Stuff like Batman and Superman The Animated series from the 90s (I loved those shows). And the Superfriends from the 80s

I dont know any of the characters Suicide Squad 1 or 2 beside Harley Quinn.

The 2 characters that catch my eye are King Shark and the Weasle. And I assume the are CGI

I'm a Marvel fan. I collected comics as a kid, Xmen, spiderman, etc.
I'm way familiar with characters and some event storylines.

Oh wait I forgot!
There are DC animated movies I've maybe seen a dozen or less over the years. They are usually have great stories.

Going by a new article in the Hollywood Reporter, it seems the Black Superman is going to be Kal-El, not Calvin Ellis or Val-Zod. Also Supergirl in The Flash movie is going to be played by Latina actress Sasha Calle.

If this movie flops, and there's a good chance it will, I'm just afraid that they'll use that as an excuse to not make more superhero movies based on characters who are actually black. Black Panther showed that there's an audience for these kinds of stories but making Superman black just for the sake of it could very well kill Hollywood's enthusiasm for black heroes if it fails.

As for Supergirl, if it's not me then they've cast the wrong actress, regardless of race.

Maybe Clark is going to use his own machine.

This comic came out in 1970. Maybe she went to see Hair or Jesus Christ Superstar on Broadway. Diana Prince was dressing like that in the comics around that time too.
