Beavis and butt-head Or South Park?

Just wondering who the org member prefer more

Myself,I am a fan of both shows.I prefer beavis and butt-head slightly because they came first and they bring back a lot of sentimental memories.South Park has been going since 1997,although in my opinion it is nowhere near as great as it use to be,it has its funny moments.
I watched old episodes of beavis and butt-head last week and I laughed so much in was like seeing if for the first time.
Beavis and butt-head actually ended in 1997 then came back in 2011 but got canceled.
Now in 2021 it is coming again.Lets hope it is great

I always hated South Park as a kid. The animation, the voices, the childish jokes. Hated everything about it.

Beavis and Butt-Head, on the other hand, was great.

Depends on the espisodes for either show--some are funny; some are not.

Beavis and Butthead were a time and place thing when South Park wasn't on the radar. Them making fun of music videos were always funnier than the storylines to me. Mike Judge is a genius.

South Park has become iconic. Trey Parker and Matt Stone have created next level funny and one of the best satires being made today.

I love them both.

Those crossovers are really hit and miss for me...feel the same on all of these reboots.

Beavis and Butthead announced a new movie on Paramount plus last month...not sure I care in 2021.

Time and place things in pop culture are difficult to replicate but I guess there's money to be made off the nostagalia crowd. shrug

Southpark made better tv shows (the story part of Beavis and Butthead was always weak compared to the commentary over videos) and the better movie. For all of the good things South Park did though, it was never appointment viewing for me. I watched it if it was on, but I have not kept track with it the last few years.

Both shows are good creations. but I like that Southpark had a more expansive cast of characters and guest stars.

I'll wait until the new Bev&Butt movie is out to see if Mike J is not neutered on his content. South Park is 24 years old and at least Matt and Trey have a ton of autonomy to be crude as they want to be, I don't watch the show as much as I used too.

South Park. It plays on what is going on in society. Very smart and up to date when much of the world is so behind. I feel their last ten seasons trails their beginnings.

Oh, come on. Al Gore and Manbearpig. Mr. Garrison yelling at Rosie O'Donnell, "Just because you're on TV doesn't mean you know shit about the government." The cloud of smug over San Francisco. Aging Hippie Liberal Douche.

South Park all the way.

South Park was a breath of fresh air in the late 90s, but it increasingly just became a libertarian shithead show. Many of its targets are well deserved, many are just punching down, but ultimately who gives a fuck, they believe in nothing themselves. Absolute nihilism only lasts so long. If I come across an episode these days i'm sure i'll laugh along but whatever, it's a void.

Beavis & Butthead knew what it was and was kind of sweet underneath it all. A true underdog show, it gets my vote.
