YouTubers often shift the pitch/speed to avoid the algorithms, but then you get comment boxes loaded with "wTfBrO y is the pitch off?!?"

Option 1: Don't put copyrightet material in it.
Option2: Shift the pitch/speed. [Edited 1/31/21 6:00am]

I always put something like " i do not own or claim to own any content used in this upload. All video and/or audio belongs to the rightful owners. Promotional use only". In 12 years I've only had a few videos taken down across 4 channels.

The question has already been answered, but it really just comes down to not putting any music or video in it that you don't own. There are many Fair Use regulations and YouTube pretty much doesn't give a shit if a copyright holder files a claim. It's all about ad revenue since Google took over and there's not much you can do about it. If you want to go HAM on it you can contact someone associated with the work in question (managers, lawyers, record label, the artist directly) and get permission. Believe it or not this does sometimes work. Even then you could still end up getting a strike and have to dispute it as a good portion of that stuff happens with software and algorithms these days. I was wanting to post prince videos on youtube. There are hundreds or maybe more videos of youtube users like myself who are able to post prince concert footage and not have their videos taken down.I am not trying to profit off of these,I just want to share them. Out of respect I will not post links but I am sure you all have seen the videos on youtube.
