To answer kpower's question: I think they're showing it on Thanksgiving because what the hell else is on?! LOL

Well, Broccoli was legendary singer and writer Paul Anka! We sorta started to figure it out with that clue package and his voice. It was so recognizable. The Jason mask was because one of his son-in-laws is Jason Bateman. Pretty clever clue.

The Mushroom has be up in arms. I can't figure him out, but I really hope it's not Jaden Smith.

Also, Jellyfish is likely someone from The Hills. The calculator in the clue package had 57714 on it. Upside down that spells HILLS. So, it could be someone like Heidi Montag, Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patrige or that other girl. Possibly, but it seems like a really good lead.

Just to re-up from the locked thread, I believe the Croc is one of the Backstreet Boys, or Aaron Carter. Also, Popcorn is likely singer Taylor Dayne.

Yeah I was trying to guess what that number meant. Knew it wasn't a year.

Well I called it with Popcorn being Taylor Dayne. I talked to my cousin this morning, here's our thoughts on the remaining three. I don't watch sports, so the Jellyfish was no one I knew. But "HILLS" on the calculator was a nod to her skiing, and the X and O was because she's competed in both the X-Games and Olymics. Clever clue. The seahorse - I only know Tori Kelly's name, but not her music.

Mushroom - Jordan Fisher. He is a younger actor & singer. When they did RENT: LIVE, he played the role of Mark Cohen. I believe he had a foot injury the day before the live airing, so the version we saw on TV was actually a taped dressed rehearsal from the day before (and before the foot injury). They went live right at the end.

Croc - I'm leaning more toward Backstreet Boy Nick Carter. Something about his voice last night made me think more of Nick, opposed to Brian or A.J. The body language feels like A.J. Nick (at the time of taping) has 2 kids (he's since had a 3rd), A.J. has two kids, and Brian has two kids. That was part of the clue package, two kids.

Sun - my cousin seems to think it's LeAnn Rimes. I don't know her voice that well, but the cousin is pretty firm on it. Some of the clues really point to Rimes as well, so I'll go with that.

Wow triple elimination. OK I know Chole Kim, was shock she has a nice voice. Yup you mentioned Taylor Dayne as popcorn and I agree. Seahorse, Tori Kelly, have no idea who she is, though I was surpised she didn't make it to the finale 3.

I pulled up the track on YouTube to compare the performance w/ the album. Damn if that ain't her!

I'm not 100% on Jordan Fisher for Mushroom. He mentioned having a daughter, but I can't readily find anything about him beyong his marriage.

Totally convinced Croc is Nick Carter. His body was more evident in the first hour of the show in some behind the scenes stuff. His legs and hips made me think of Carter.

I realized the Sun spitting fire has to be a direct nod to LeAnn Rimes' 2013 album, Spitfire.

The first hour is fine with some new clues, but the recaps about past singers I skipped. I only concentrated on the final 3's stuff. We're into the finale now, with 31 minutes to go!

I don't know who I want to win, but I'm sorta feeling Mushroom's versatility. But Sun mentioned how she finally feels like now people can just hear her, instead of judging her on who they think she is based on when they first heard about her. (like a young singer, a troubled teen divorcing her parents, a woman who took another woman's wife or whatever.)

OMG! WHAT A FUN FINALE!!! I was totally wrong about Mushroom and have no idea who that is. I usually know a name, at least. But I was clueless about who this person is.

So fun to see the other two! I'm a new fan of the Sun now. She can sang.

Yup I have no idea who mushroom was. Honestly I thought there were better singers than him. Yeah I thought sun was going to win it.

For some reason, maybe on the heels of LeAnn Rimes, I think Trisha Yearwood should pop in there.

And not that she'd keep her mouth shut or be professional about it, but someone like Lindsey Lohan would be a big shocker for folks.

I love that shows like this go from some little b-list series to something people wanna be on, major stars. I'm not sure we're goign to see Gaga, Bradley Cooper, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansen (sp) or the like on there, but I could see someone like Leslie Jones, Jason Alexander, even one of the Brady actors like Barry Williams or Eve Plumb doing it for shits and giggles. Barry sings anyway, and Eve was in the Grease Live airing. I mean, they got Bob Saget of all people!

I'm already anxious for the next season, but I'm happy to take a breather until then.
