This seems like a new business plan for Microsoft. This is the third time now that they've been teaming up with the "competition". My brother works in the videogame business and he was telling me that they are partnering with Nintendo to bring their Xbox Live service to the Nintendo Switch. He also tells me that they've recently reached a deal with Sony for Sony to use Microsoft's servers for game streaming, which both companies see as the future of the games industry.

Technically he is but that's not what he does for the most part. His job title is "Game Artist" or something like that. He's only doing it a few months now but he's split between two separate projects. I can't remember what he said one of them was but the other one is the next Assassin's Creed. So, they're pretty big projects.
