Do you take care of yourself? Are you getting enough water and sleep everyday? [Edited 5/10/19 12:52pm]

Yep! I have to cut back on snacks and cakes(my favorite!). I never smoked or drank alcohol. When I have time, I will start a thread on psychology. And everyone needs to avoid stress, negative situations, toxic people, family(especially) to be healthy physically, mentally, spiritually, etc.

Sugar monkey, 😃, I like that. Everything in moderation is good. True, sometimes stress can't be avoided and people need to cope better/be patient, etc. I am a Caprcorn with Virgo Rising. I like to avoid negative and stressful situation. Having creative hobbies is also healthy.

The water signs(Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces) are more prone to stress, depression, mood swings, temper tantrums, etc. Negative people, environment, situations can cause them to become physically ill.
The fire signs(Aries, Leo, Sagittarius)tend to get into arguments with people, do too much and do not get enough rest/sleep/eat healthy daily. That will affect their health. Libras need peace and tranquility. Otherwise they will develop health issues from stress. Gemini and Virgos think too much, and do a variety of things to the extreme. They need to stay calm, relax more to stay in good health. [Edited 5/9/19 21:04pm]

I did some modelling in my late teens/early 20s and against the advice of pretty much everyone, I used to eat like an absolute pig. But I never put on any weight so I figured what the hell. Of course, it didn't help that at the time I was seriously depressed. My personal life back then was hell and my dream job had turned into a nightmare. But then my daughter was born and everything changed. I started eating right, exercising more and I gave up anything that made me unhappy, whether that be my job, certain "friends" in the music industry or even seeing my mother and older sister, who made me miserable beyond belief. Now, in my late 20s, I'm much happier. My job was shit but it paid really well so I'm pretty much set for life so when I work now, it's just for something to do rather than something I HAVE to do. That instantly makes it more enjoyable. I got married in January to what I can only describe as the most patient man in the world. He puts up with a lot so I'm very grateful for that. And I thank my daughter for everything I have. I really believe that I'd be dead now if it wasn't for her. And all she wants in return is a little brother. She may be disappointed

Yes, I certainly try to. I'll be 56 in a couple of months and I feel pretty good. I eat right (most of the time) get plenty of sleep because I need it to function properly. I have a very busy, demanding job and I need to get a minimum of 7 hours of sleep a night and 8-9 is even better. I get a little exercise and I take time to meditate, read and enjoy the simple things in life. I do not spend a lot of time on social media, in fact, I don't do FB, Twitter, Snapchat or any of those apps. I have an amazing husband of 30 years and we love our nights out together enjoying a good meal and some wine. We also love to travel and it's important to us to get away from it all once or twice a year as we work very hard the rest of the year.

No matter how low you may feel, I believe that there's always something that can turn things around. For me, it was my daughter. For my husband, it's running. For some people, it's food. It's different for everyone. The trick is trying to find out what works for you.

I also like to listen to talk radio. Dr. Eric Braverman is on the AM radio station in New York. I have to buy some of his many books. He helps people learn about: eating healthy, hormones and age, brain health, how to heal from some illnesses/health issues, herbs, spices, fruits, vegetables are naturally healing.

Usually, but I just ate a mess of Peanut Better M&Ms, trying to work off some anger directed at my attorney.

And as the saying states: "You learn something new everyday"! True that! I took a nuitrion class and an introduction to health class in college. Great classes and great information. Everyone should increase their knowledge about health, nutrition and psychology. People need to stay healthy mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually.

In Oct 17 I was in a job I hated, working a ridiculous number of hours per week, hardly seeing my family, and I had piled the weight on through stress eating. In hindsight I firmly believe I was heading for some kind of breakdown. I'm not going to say what snapped, but one day something happened and I knew I couldn't carry on, my notice went in that day with no forward plan. When I left I spent 3 months on myself before even looking for another job. I lost weight, got fit and spent time with my family.

I'm feeling Really Low these days - I haven't been able to concentrate on my work, ie. DO any serious amount of it, in like, a month!! - and that won't do. I just signed up for a gym 2 days back, even though it cost money, cause I really need some physical exercise, you know, an outlet....?

Dominator2010, what happened in the past year that would make you feel sad/unmotivated/not interested in your job? Many people who do not like their jobs/careers. That will definitely cause stress. Working at a job/having a career that a person likes is important.

Wow the Org has really changed. "Never let nasty stalkers disrespect you. They start shit, you finish it. Go down to their level, that's the only way they'll understand. You have to handle things yourself."

I've never been in a gym in my life but my brother used to be similar to yourself. He never really left the house, very shy and had very few friends. He was always on his computer. My ex took him to his MMA gym and over time my brother started coming out of his shell more and more. He got to know the other people there, made a few friends along the way and even though he lives and works in France now, still keeps in touch with a lot of them. And because he's more confident and outgoing now, he's made lots of friends at work too.
