The latest look at Disney’s live-action “Aladdin” is here, revealing MEGA STAR Will Smith in his full blue Genie form for the first time.

Smith takes on Robin Williams(whom I worked with)’ former role as the Genie, promising in an Entertainment Weekly first look last December to bring a “hip hop flavor” to the part. “Sherlock Holmes” director Guy Ritchie takes the helm.

I mean, I´m not a fan or anything but I truly don´t understand why people dislike him so much. Is it because of what his son says and does? Is it the aftermath of his movie After Earth? Is it because of his links to Scientology? There was a time when he could do no wrong, but these days it seems he´s got the Midas touch reversed.

I can't speak for anyone else but personally, I just don't like his movies. The first Men In Black was good and Independence Day is the best example of that genre for me, but aside from those two, his movies vary from bad to terrible. I have nothing against him personally. It's just his shit movies that turns me off. Two people I know have met him (one of them worked with him on Winter's Tale) and BOTH of them said that he's extremely difficult to be around because he's so full of himself. Like, on Winter's Tale he went up to some of the extras and supposedly said "even though I'm a big star I still find time to talk to the little people like you". His tone suggested he was joking but to even say something like that means he's a bit of a dickhead. He also has "an overbearing, false, personality".

Triple co-sign on him being fake and full of himself. Every time you hear him or his (beard) wife being interviewed, they're always pontificating. Bunch of jive-ass mfers.

Prince(r.i.p.) was going to work with Willow. Who is actually a VERY gifted singer/writer & BEYOND her years in wisdom and has grown into a beautiful young woman. The hate towards The Smith family is uncalled for. They've NEVER done ANYTHING to deserve it. Jaden & Willow also have NEVER been in ANY scandal despite the criticism on how they were raised to make their own decisions & be independent young adults.

Just because the beautiful Jada has unique views on life, (which btw she has successfully turned it into a HIT/highest rated talk show "Red Table" on Facebook the TALK of the industry) She has helped so many people in the process but STILL the jealousy still continues. MANY people could learn from Will & Jada on their INTACT marriage.

Will has NEVER given off a overbearing, false, personality. His personality is what made him a movie star & sitcom star from the moment Quincy Jones layed eyes on him & discovered him. NO ONE that's met him has EVER said anything negative about him. So that's ALL a COMPLETE LIE!

Then to put the icing on the cake. Will was the LAST STAR to talk to the late Prince(r.i.p.) before he went into his afterlife.

There's something really off about the genie in that trailer. I guess it needs more sfx to make it smoother or something, it looks like Will Smith's face is edited onto someone else's body, just weird looking.
