Dang - THREE straight offsides on that field goal attempt? That's just dumb, as evidenced by the fact that the guy missed the first attempt but got a re-try on account of cheating.
The last one was the best! The dude cheated so hard that he was already past the ball when the kick was made. |

Here is a non-GAME-related question.
The good citizens of Harris County are on the hook for about $40 million related to the retractable rook at NRG Stadium. This roof was designed and implemented at the request of the Texans, who are the only party that uses the stadium and can open the roof.
Which they did, until a massive screw-up against the Steelers some years ago. Since then, they've refused to open it. Their reasoning is that it's "louder" with the roof closed, and that give us an "advantage".
But neither the Patriots, Seahawks, Packers, Steelers, or the Broncos need a roof to win.
So my question is - should the Texans pay back $40 million to Harris County for that roof they made us build but won't use? |

I kind of get it, though. Did you see that graphic that said the Steelers were 220 - 0 - 2 when leading by 14+ at halftime? They were up 16 at the the half last night.
Maybe they just really, really, REALLY didn't want to be the first Steelers team to lose with a lead that big. Maybe all the old Steelers are now going to rag on those guys for the rest of their lives.

I'm surprised that the Chiefs game yesterday was so close. With the Raiders record, I expected more of a blowout. |

Yeah Chargers are allowed to have a false start resulting in a TD but the Steelers are not allowed to be offsides to block a FG attempt, yup sounds fair to me |

Steelers still has a tough schedule ahead of them. Playing the Broncos in Denver, yeah sure Steelers will most likely be the favorites but Bronco's are not a bad team and this could be a trap game for the Steelers. Heck even the Raiders could be a trap game, Steelers have loss to bad Raider teams before. Chargers are tough but are playing them in Pittsburgh. New England in Pittsburgh, Ben has yet to beat Brady/Belichick. Saints in New Orleans will be tough. It's possible by then Saints could have home-field advantage for the NFC, and may rest some starters for at least some of the game. Last game will be the Bengals, if standings don't matter in this game Steelers could also rest alot of the starters for the last game. Losing 2 games could result in Steelers being the 4th seed. Losing 3 or more may drop Steelers to a wild card spot or even not making the playoffs.

Man I saw this coming. Picking the Steelers to lose the next 2 games against Patriots and Saints. Have a feeling they won't make playoffs this year. |

Had the Patriots had anyone that knows how to tackle as their safety, it wouldn't have worked.
I don't know whose bright idea it was to put Gronkowski back there but that guy should be fired. Thei is the NFL, not a weekend rec league.
