Oh, Marvin! cry

Wow you guys are finally getting rid of Lewis.

About damn time. But the Bungles are too cheap to hire an A-List coach.

Damn, it was a serious Black Monday, but that's the business of the NFL. No one cries when players get cut.

No doubt the biggest disappointments are the Steelers, Vikings & especially the Jags. Man, they were THIS CLOSE to the SB......now they're coming apart at the seams.

The Bears are the wrong team for Foles to be playing with those bruised ribs.

Rooting for a Colts-Titans tie

I feel the Steelers are better than both these squads

OK phunkdaddy what should the Steelers do for the next season? Coaching changes? Let players go, if so who? Trade for players?

Coaching changes for sure. If Keith Butler is saying that the Steelers have to game plan for

Tyler Eifert a player who's been on injured reserve since week 6 and didn't even play in the

first Steelers-Bengals matchup something is definitely wrong. Go back to the Chargers game

when he's trying to cover Keenan Allen with a LB. Keith Butler's schemes are suspect.

Now you have a locker room issue with Antonio Brown. disbelief

At least Tomlin had the balls to sit his ass. You can't miss meetings and shit and throw tantrums

when you don't get your way. Don't know what the hell has gotten into him.

JuJu is supposed to learn from him but it looks like it needs to be the other way around.

NFL = Never Figure League. Hey I called this, read reply 131. Also bullshit calls like the Chargers getting a free TD on an obvious false start and 2 bad calls on the Saints game as well which also lead to a TD. Plus I blame Bell

The league is full of bad calls, you had 1 in that game, not 2. Do you think the Saints/Cowboys game was called fairly? Get a grip. pat

The Steelers expected to make the playoffs and it seemed like they figured they'd just round into form eventually. They never did.

This season can't be hung around Bell's neck. PIT made winning without Bell its rallying cry. They got Conner to the Pro Bowl.

The problem was distractions. One of the Steelers said his team was like the Kardashians. It went way beyond Bell's money dispute. Ben and AB had something to do with that too, and Tomlin just seemed to lose the locker room.

This was truly a wasted season for the Steelers. They've had great seasons go up in smoke in January but I don't think I've ever seen a Pittsburgh team mired in the kind of silliness the 2018 squad was.

Tomlin said AB didn't ask for a trade but at this point I'm inclined to believe he did.

Big changes will need to be made. Not just Butler.

I'd bet that some owners like Brown thought that parity would narrow the gap between the elite teams and the also-rans, and even if it didn't, would give them a built-in excuse for not winning.

But there have really only been a handful of elite teams that have dominated the parity era, and now that fans can get NFL content from multiple platforms, and some of them have now shifted their focus to fantasy, people are less willing to invest in run-of-the-mill.

The owners with terrible/dysfunctional operations have suffered the worst. Marvin did what he could, but ultimately, CIN has big-picture issues that he couldn't overcome (or some would say, hide behind) any longer. Franchises are facing the same problems in places like DC.

How would you like Marvin Lewis or Rex Ryan as D coordinator.

Could there have been some chemistry reasons behind that firing?
