That makes me sad, he's so old, what threat does he propose to society at this point he needs to be locked away? Everything else has been stripped away, so he's been punished for his bad behavior, his reputation is forever sullied.

Time keeps on slipping into the future...

That's it?! omg

I don't care if he's old, should have thought about that before he drugged and raped women. Serial rapists, should be locked up forever.

oh that's fucked up. they pulled all kinds of shit to get him, he did it, yes, but they broke their own rules to get him. didn't constand make an agreement not to talk about it? did she not break that agreement? was there any physical evidence? this marks a reall turning point in this society. so, now, any woman can come along and wield the harrassment and rape accusations to get their way, the country is falling apart.

On the taxpayers dime? Yep, rape us all, and then say we can't afford Uni-Health because of all the jail maintenance. Let the old man stay at home footing his own bills for room and board.

If you were a victim wouldn't you want prison for your rapist?

I feel sorry for all parties involved. I really hope that the women who Cosby raped can continue(or start) to heal. And i hope Cosby survives prison. He's what, 81? And with his health issues and the poor medical care that prisoners receive, there's no guarantee that he will survive 3+ years in prison. If he does survive, he will most likely be a shell of himself.

Anyway, he made the choices that he did, so... shrug

Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon.

That's a tuff question. Sure I'd want a dangerous criminal locked up so he wouldn't harm other people, but after this amount of time, and after all the trial and knowing whatever he did has come to light, I don't know if I would need for him to go to jail to feel better.

As a woman, great. Just because a person is old, does not mean he/she should not face consequences for the crimes they commit against others. Age has nothing to do with it.

Yep. Thanks for being a voice of reason. Women are not expendable. Rapists should go to prison no matter their wealth or status.

it should bother people that they bent and broke their own rules to get him not because of sympathy for an old rapist but because that shows how phoney their system is, which I knew but Cosby obviously didn't. He was defiant when he should have been quiet, he was trying to make more tv shows when he should have just retired and he was just to confident that he wouldn't ever be caught and punished. I'm just suprised why the lack of physical evidence, the agreements made (constandt took the money, did she not?) were broken with no repurcussions and on and on and no one is talking about it.

think they said 3 years, at any rate, what he's going through the last 3 years is already the worst punishment he'll endure, locking him in a cage won't be a whole lot worse than losing his place in society.

The only people I feel sorry for are the 60 women who testified. I'm sure the trial was pleasant after being raped by a public figure who you trusted.

Regardless of the situation with most of Cosby's accusers Janice Dickinson needs

to sit down. She says she has the last laugh. It's sure as hell is a ugly laugh.

I still say her drug addict ass is lying.

she was lying about some shit, she said she snapped a picture of him in a bathrobe because she sensed she was going unconscious, that smelled like bullshit to me. and there is the inconvenient fact that she lied in her book by saying he didn't rape her. I believe several of these women are lying but I also believe the majority of them. I think in the future, when this is looked back on, people are going to realize that it was a bizarre case that bent and twisted rules, not sure if it'll be seen as the system being applied correctly because it most definitely wasn't. they had their chance to get cosby earlier, they didn't do the work, no evidence, because of all the time, peoples memories fade or change, several of the women gave different accounts.

It's a very sad situation all the way around, but Cosby got what he deserved. He is a serial rapist and he's paying the price. This is NOT a racists thing at all. It's about justice.
