Yeah, I remember the series ending in which Michael Landon blows up the town. That was quite a spectacular finale... "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

^I knew that the deal with the land owner at the time was to restore the show set to its original state when the show would end and that therefore Michael Landon had some of the buildings of Walnut Grove dynamited as part of the last episode's story (The Last Farewell S10 E03), though I am not sure if he had other reasons to do this (other than to restore the land back to how it used to be). 'The Birth Of An InventionIn 1979, while filming an episode of Little House on the Prairie, Garett Brown had a conversation with actor and former football player Merlin Olsen about the lack of available camera angles in the NFL, and how this influences the overall viewer experience. Brown’s chat with Olsen stuck with him and two years later, Brown began developing Skycam, a camera system suspended from a network of cables that can be controlled via computer. This invention revolutionized the way we watch sports.' http://www.ninjajournalis...ecrets-tb/

^ I haven't seen it yet, but is sure looks spooky. People wrongly assume that because a story features in the Little House On The Prairie, it will be ok for younger audiences. Well, they could not be more wrong, there are many episodes that have been rated PG and PG-12. Life Matters | |
