The Browns. Wonder how many teams have had 3 OT in one season with 3 different outcomes?

week 5

Patriots over the Colts

Packers
over the Lions

Titans over the Bills -- "I think BUF rises up for this one and TEN plays down to their level . . ." pretty much.

Broncos
over the Jets Vance Joseph may not finish the season.

Panthers
over the Giants

Steelers over the Falcons -- "ATL may win this one with their running game, but I know I'm going out on a limb." Ugh.

Ravens
over the Browns -- CLE could easily be 4-1. Could they win 6 or 7 this year?

Jaguars over the Chiefs -- "It's Showtime." can't wait for Sun Nite.

Bengals
over the Dolphins

Chargers
over the Raiders

Eagles over the Vikings -- "PHI is better but again I'm going out on a limb." The hangover is real.

49'ers
over the Cardinals

Rams
over the Seahawks

Texans over the Cowboys -- Jason Garrett might not finish the season

Saints
over the Redskins -- I'm picking vs. WSH every week.

[Edited 10/3/18 13:12pm]

Week 5 results -- 8-6 thru Mon.

Overall: 42-32-2

I love watching Mahomes. I predicted he'd be the one guy who could impact the season most one way or another.

Ben played a good game but that interception he threw in the in zone was inexcusable. Just threw it in there in a crowd of Falcons disbelief

Indeed. I love watching him.

And I don't think you "lucked out" -- I credit KC for doing their homework, picking the guy, and putting him in a position to flourish right off the bat.

It was only a matter of time.

Though they may regret passing on a QB for Saquon in the long term, the Jints are the ultimate Jeckyll & Hyde team.

I would not be surprised if they caught fire and went on to a win or 2 in January.

I also wouldn't be surprised if they went 3-13.

Drew Brees celebrated with his family after passing Peyton Manning for the N.F.L. record for career passing yards. Gerald Herbert/Associated Press

The New York Times - Oct 8, 2018 - Benjamin Hoffman

Drew Brees broke Peyton Manning’s record to become the N.F.L.’s leader in career passing yards, breaking the mark in the second quarter of a 43-19 win over the Washington Redskins on Monday.

Brees, the prolific New Orleans Saints quarterback who is in his 18th season, came into the game in third place, behind both Manning’s 71,940 and Brett Favre’s 71,838. He passed Favre with a 1-yard touchdown pass to Josh Hill, and then exceeded Manning’s total with a 62-yard catch-and-run by Tre-Quan Smith.

My favorite qb outside of Pittsburgh to watch play. I always said he has the
best form of any qb I've seen play. Amazingly he's never been MVP of the league.
Drew is the best pure passer in the league. Even better than that overhyped guy in
Green Bay.

Maybe it's because they keep saying he's short. That's their go-to when looking for a fault. smh

Giants season is officially OVA.

And yes, they made a big mistake by not selecting Darnold and setting themselves at QB post-Eli. I've been screaming about this since the draft. They took the short-term route thinking they could win now. How's that working out for them?

There is SOME good news - Ereck "The Human Turnstile" Flowers will be released today.

No it isn't. Not in that division. PHI is dealing with the SB Hangover, DAL is always waiting on the next disaster, and WSH is just awful.

Ereck Flowers has taken all the incoming fire for an offensive line that really isn't that good. Now that he's gone, more people are going to catch the smoke he got.

Week 6

Eagles over the Giants (drama continues for NY)

Chargers over the Browns (Another OT for the Browns?)

Seahawks over the Raiders (Las Vegas no longers wants the Raiders lol )

Falcons over the Buccaners (Ok one of these teams will finish last in the NFC south)

Jets over the Colts (Picking the Jets which means the Colts will win)

Panthers over the Redskins (Toss up for me on this one)

Texans over the Bills (Another toss up game)

Steelers over the Bungals (Will be playing in the ghetto so expect it to be a dirty game)

Rams over the Broncos (Rams won't go 16-0, but they don't lose this week)

Jaguars over the Cowboys (Jags defense will win this one)

Vikings over the Cardinals (Vikings beat another bird team)

Bears over the Dolphins (Da Bears)

Ravens over the Titans (wonder how many Ravens fan laughed when the Steelers tied the Browns)

Patriots over the Chiefs (Sorry Penny, but rooting for the Chiefs)

Packers over the 49er's (This was a good game back in the 90's)

Bye week Lions/Saints

falloff

I agree with everything you said but had to highlight the Dallas comment.

The Giants have been playing better football. If they clean up a few things they

could certatainly win the NFC least. It's anybody's division but Washington. I actually

think Washington is closer to the disaster they suffered last night than the 2 wins they've

had one of which was a win over hapless Arizona.

Week 6

Eagles over the Giants

Chargers over the Browns because LAC may be sluggish for a cross-country game.

Seahawks over the Raiders

Falcons over the Buccaners

Jets over the Colts IND comes through in do-or-die game.

Panthers over the Redskins

Texans over the Bills

Steelers over the Bengals PIT's D will hamper it again.

Rams over the Broncos

Jaguars over the Cowboys

Vikings over the Cardinals

Bears over the Dolphins sometimes the Fish surprise.

Ravens over the Titans

Patriots over the Chiefs NE's regular season kicks into gear in October, and this is a statement game for them, though like kpowers, I'm rooting for Showtime's Chiefs.
