NFL Regular Season Thread 1

Figured this thread would have already been started, considering the Eagles and Falcons stumbled their way through the season opener last night. But then I got a sign from God this evening, in the parking lot where we ate dinner, so here we go:

A tie?? I consider that a Browns win and a Steelers loss. Not going be a poor sport, hats off to the Browns they played harder. AFC north looks tough this year.

Gotdammit, can the Giants STOP with the Ereck 'Human Turnstile' Flowers experiment? The other linemen weren't good either, but damn, he sucks no matter where you put him. I'm not letting Eli off the hook, either - that pick-six was ridiculous.

Only the Browns could force 6 turnovers and still lose the damn game.

Aaron Rodgers showed why he's one of the best ever, but the Bears gave one away. If Fuller hangs on to the INT, game over. That play HAS to be made.

LOL @ all the Dallas fans who thought Prescott was the next big thing after the 13-3 season. Look at him now with no Witten, no Dez, a banged-up o-line, plus he's not an accurate thrower.

When will the Seahawks get Russell Wilson a real o-line?

All the Chargers saw was the back of Hill's jersey, lol. Once that mfer hits daylight, it's over.

Ryan Fitzgerald dropping 48 on the Saints....dayum. If Fitzy continues like this, I wonder if Tampa would go back to Winston. Word is the organization's tired of him.

As usual a lot of boneheaded Steelers fans are trying to pin the tie with
the Browns on Mike Tomlin. Your qb can't have 5 turnovers and expect to beat
good teams rust or no rust. Tomlin's one mistake not giving Conner a blow when he appeared to be a little tired before the fumble. Ben has to stop being a turnover
machine particularly on the road.

.. with the N.Y. media and National media always ripping Todd Bowles since his coaching career in N.Y. began, lets see if the brother gets any credit when the Jets turn it around...

The Game had the 3 things I hate the most 1. Interceptions 2. Fumble 3. Missed field goals. Considering all that happened I'm surprised they didn't lose. I'm blaming this loss on Ben. Tomlin better learn from this game that Ben does need more time in pre season, tired of hearing the rust excuse.

It's a must-win for the Giants. Their following schedule is BRUTAL - Texans, Saints, Panthers, Eagles & Falcons.

Have to admit Ben did live up to his name of Buttlessburger. Stafford is a good QB, every QB has a bad game. Carr, I'm not sold on him yet. Well if Bortles wins against the Patriots yeah he is the one to watch.
