I was talking about things, general discussions amongst friends... and brought up some things that I (no doubt) heard through this site...

Anyway... the conversation starts like this...

Yeah, a friend told me...

or

Oh, One of my friends told me that...

or

I was talking with a friend, and he/she said...


Now, that friend I was talking to, or was told by, or who said... is you guys!!! I refer to you guys as my "friends"... the unknown friends I refer to.

Nobody has asked me who these other friends are... not sure what I'd say if I was asked...

Anyway... I think it's funny. Do you do this?

Sometimes, but at this point all of my friends know about the org, so I usually just say, "this guy/girl on the org said. . ."

My husband even knows some of you by screen name, even though he's never used the org. . ."Icenine said. . .Teller said. . .". . .

I've done it. "A friend" sounds much less loony than "a person I know on a Prince website".

i repeat and paraphrase threads on here all the time. my friends think it is odd, but if it's a funny enough story, they really don't care

I do quote things that have been discussed here and I have said my friends or prince fams or the org. I also sent a thread to a friend going through a divorce one of the ones where there was so much comfort given and lists of things to do for an orger with a broken heart.

I am new here but I have always felt I belonged so yeah I consider you guys my friends too

I don't but I should do. I think I have more common intrests with most people here than my daylight friends. I usally say "I was in a chat room and someone said..."

On a slight tangent, I usually tell my wife I've been looking at porn if she asks me what I've been doing online.
I find this slightly less embarrasing than saying I've been at a Prince Fan website's message boards. Sorry
