I've been here since 2004. My favorite section was "Music: Non Prince" before it turned into The Mickey Mouse Club over there. There was a lot of good times with folks like Handclapsandfingasnaps, DavidEye, TheRealFiness, paisleypark4, TheAudience, Supernova, Harlepolis, Funkenstein, 100MPH, RipHer2Shreds, and so many others whose names escape me right now. That's what happens when you're an old whore who will be 51 next month. That's alright though, I just consider myself as being promoted to the Madame of The Brothel.

I mainly ventured into the "Prince" section when he released a new album to either praise it if it was good or to shit on it if it was horrible. That's what made the org far better than the other sites because so many of us weren't the ass kissers so we would flat outright tell it like it is if we didn't like something. There were some fun characters over there also like Zelaira and AsianBomb. ThAt DAMN Zelaira WoUlD gEt sO hOrNy and STarT tYpINg LIKE thiS whEN shE wORked HerSElf into A FRenzY....and AsianBomb was just as wild and crazy as he wanted to be and didn't give a damn who liked it or not and there used to be some hilarious photoshop threads over there.

Every now and then I would also go into the "General Discussion" section for topics in general, mainly for the dirty, explicit topics.....although, I was dirty and explicit no matter what section I was in. I'll never forget the Naked Male Celebrities Thread.....page after page of celebrity dicks. There was simply a NSFW warning in the thread title back then before you had to start putting it on links within the threads. Yes, those were some fun times. And going into threads and talking sex in graphic detail. I remember I convinced one guy to show his underwear in the thread. I kept trying to get him to send me a private picture of his dick but I didn't get that lucky. And flirting with the men....oh honey, I was an absolute WHORE.

I still pop over from time to time but the org seems so tame and stuffy these days. Nothing like the wild house of freaks it used to be.

Aisha (Harlepolis) is the only one I met from this board and ironically we used to post in the same message board but didn't know each other at the time (I didn't really pay attention to her posts/threads until afterwards, didn't even know her screenname for that matter). Our story of how we became friends was funny, she used to teach an elective class at an American college in my country (Qatar) where I was one of her students and I remember her class was the most fun and carefree. I'll never forget her reaction, the look on her face, its like I gave her the best present and for a moment she forgot she was teaching the class until she caught herself lol we became record store buddies from that point on. I've gained SO much music knowledge from this message board more than anywhere else, but she singlehandedly broadened my music taste in a way nobody ever did before or since. Every month she would send me - among a couple of her friends - a new playlist that has absolutely NO theme, just a compilation of different random songs she would play regularly and every single song made me dig for its artist. For years, I gulped everything she gave and shared. Its amazing how our tastes were similar. When her contract expired after a few years, she didn't wanna renew it and went back to her family home in Minneapolis, the playlists and the texts grew further apart until they stopped. Last time I emailed her was a couple of years ago, she moved to Southern California with her family and settled there. One of the funniest, coolest, (sometimes feistiest ) and kindest people I ever came across and pretty much loved among her students and collegues alike, I miss her terribly & it would've been a little bit easier had she made a social media account like a Facebook or IG or Twitter to check on her etc but I remember her strong views against them and I didn't push the subject

I remember she mentioned she was a teacher and I know you said you knew her personally but I had no idea you were her student. That's alright honey. She may be gone but I'll teach you some thangs.

Andy.....good to see you back !

I know what you mean when you talk about the wild and funny threads from the past but hey, the org is what you make of it and I think it is still a great place where you can have great conversations with some people or some fun time. If more of the old orgers, or new orgers with your kind of humor frequented this place it could probably be just the way you want it to be.

Don´t give up on the org.

I lurked around Prince communities clear back long enough that I remember when the PML rebranded itself as the PPML--and was in time for the Golden Experience tape tree... and spending what seemed like hours in the university computer lab downloading .wav files over Netscape from a site in Delft (and going, huh, why's Prince so big in the Netherlands), and using several 5 1/4'' floppies for one track.
