Depression possibly?

Sad. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

this is tragic. wonder if they will ever reveal the content of her note?

I own 4 of her bags... she was a brand all her own.

i am so glad she left one. how awful for a child not to have any words for potential closure.

i am sure she said she was sorry and eventually hopefully that may help the little girl understand

She's going thru hell, and it will impact her the rest of her life. The pain and the hurt that families are left with is, at times unbearable.

Her sister said yesterday that it wasn't unexpected. Kate had been suffering from mental issues for the past 5-6 years. She tried helping her, her husband tried helping her. She didn't want to go to get help for fear of what the public would say. They said she had her bags packed many times and they were heading for the door, and she wouldn't go. So many times the Sister said, that the sister gave up.

I never heard of her...but I'm so sorry for her and her family.

Mental illness is a bitch. It can take anyone at anytime. I love Kate's brand. I hope it lives on.

Yeah they said the her husband asked for a divorce a couple of days ago. They said that in the note that she left for her daughter, that she told her that it's not her (the daughters) fault and she needs to talk to her Dad.

Why wouldn't it? She hasn't owned it since 2006 - and more recently, it's become a division of Coach.

They didn't shut down Alexander McQueen when he committed suicide - and that brand was still his at the time. (In other words, he hadn't sold it to anyone else.)

Interesting how humans look at suicide.

I think taking life into your own hands is brave as hell.

If u are bored by this thing we call life.....suicide is a very real option.

No more drama for the one that took their life. But a lifetime of heartache and unknowns to the loved ones they left behind. It's a living hell, at times unbearable.

Nothing insensitive about it I was about to say the same, glad I read before posting.

This why it's important to love yourself first. Sounds selfish but it's not, because if you can't love yourself without harm then you can't truly love anyone else. This is very sad because this means she's been hurt whether it was by her own doing or others and that hurt is magnified x9000 when you're within the public eye.

I am starting to feel like the industry is somehow drugging and stressing these people on purpose. It's nothing new to say these estates make millions off these celebs death. I haven't trusted industry and worldly governments since 2pac and biggie death to MJ and Prince death. Something just not adding up with EVERYBODY deaths along with JFK, MLK, and Malcolm X. Suicide, Drug overdose with powerful drugs, friendly fire (meaning killed by gun accidently), or killed by a crazy fan. I give up!

Everybody just live the best you can with the mercy and grace of the creator and get your souls right.

This makes me really sad. I LOVE her stuff. Her purses are adorable and retro. Just goes to show that money definetly does not make you happy. America needs better mental awareness, and fast.
