Techie question... Anyone know what's causing a crackling subwoofer? I'm looking for some advice from any techies out there. I've got a subwoofer that's started making a crackling noise all the time when it's switched on. It's not the cable going into it, as the noise still carries on when that is disconnected. I opened it up to see if there were any obvious loose connections, but couldn't see any. And short of seeing if a family of mice is nesting in there, I'm not sure what else to look for.
